La vida humana es altamente sagrada y misteriosa. Solo Dios puede desentrañar su misterio. Visweswara (el Señor del universo) permea el universo entero. Él trasciende toda descripción. Está presente en ustedes bajo la forma del Atma. Hay un solo camino para tomar conciencia del Atma. Abandonen el sentimiento de «mío». Una vez que se libren de tal apego mundano, desarrollarán pureza, firmeza y desprendimiento. Estarán libres de sufrimiento, preocupación y ansiedad. Finalmente, alcanzarán moksha (la liberación). Habiendo logrado manavatwa (la humanidad), deben esforzarse por subir al nivel de Madhavatwa (la divinidad). Esa es su meta. ¿De qué sirve quedarse para siempre en manavatwa? Para elevarse al nivel de la Divinidad deben cultivar sanmati (una mente pura). La unidad confiere pureza, la cual a su vez conducirá a la divinidad. Por eso todos deben
permanecer unidos. Ustedes pertenecen a la raza humana. Pertenecen a una sola familia. (Divino Discurso, 26 de febrero de 2006)

 

Human life is highly sacred and mysterious. Only God can unravel its mystery. Visweswara (the Lord of the universe) permeates the entire universe. He transcends all descriptions. He is present in you in the form of atma. There is only one path for the realisation of atma. Give up the feeling of ‘mine’. You say ‘this is mine and that is mine’. Once you get rid of such worldly attachment, you will develop purity, steadiness and selflessness. You will be free from suffering, worries and anxiety. Ultimately, you will attain moksha (liberation). Having attained manavatwa (humanness), you should make efforts to rise to the level of Madhavatwa (Divinity). That is your goal. What is the use if you remain in manavatwa forever? You should develop sanmati (pure mind) to rise to the level of the Divine. Unity confers purity which will in turn lead to Divinity. Hence, all of you must stand united. You belong to the human race. You belong to

En el Gita, el Señor declaró que en los humanos, Él es la capacidad de discernimiento, el Buddhi. El hombre no puede lograr la grandeza mediante la adquisición de cualquier forma de riqueza. Es la inteligencia lo que hace respetable al hombre. Quien no ejercita esta capacidad de discernimiento no es mejor que las aves o las bestias; es para elevar al hombre a un nivel superior, que la Divinidad desciende como Avatar. Avatar significa descenso. Para inclinarse a levantar al niño y abrazarlo, para elevar al hombre atrapado en insignificantes deseos y propósitos triviales, la Divinidad desciende al nivel humano y le enseña cómo puede divinizarse. Esta es la enseñanza del Gita. Todas las grandes Escrituras, como la Biblia, el Corán y las demás, se han originado con el mismo propósito. Las Escrituras por sí mismas no pueden redimirlos. Solo sirven como indicadores.

In the Gita, the Lord has declared that in humans He is the power of discrimination, Buddhi. Man cannot achieve greatness by the acquisition of all forms of wealth. It is intelligence that makes man respected. One who does not exercise this power of discrimination is no better than birds or beasts; it is to raise man to a higher level that the Divine comes down as Avatar. Avatar means descent. To stoop down to lift up the child to cuddle and to raise man, who is caught up in petty desires and trivial pursuits, Divinity descends to the human level and teaches how one can divinise oneself. This is the teaching of the Gita. All great scriptures, be it The Bible, The Quran and the others have originated for the same purpose. The scriptures by themselves, cannot redeem you. They serve only as guideposts. They indicate the roads to be taken to realise the Divine. (Divine Discourse, Aug 31, 1983)

El regazo materno es la escuela para todo hombre. Es su primer templo. La madre es la principal riqueza de todo hombre. Reconocer esta verdad acerca de nuestra madre es el deber de toda persona. No hay Dios más elevado que la madre. El padre es nuestro tesoro; la madre es nuestro Dios. En lugar de valorar tan preciosa riqueza y divinidad, los hombres se dedican a toda clase de actividades para adquirir riqueza y posesiones. El padre y la madre son inseparables, como la palabra y su significado. Todos deben apreciar a sus padres como encarnaciones de la Divinidad. La madre y el padre pueden estar físicamente separados, pero espiritualmente son uno. Las buenas madres con más esenciales que las buenas esposas. Una buena esposa es de valor solo para su esposo. Una buena madre es un valor nacional. Desde tiempos antiguos, las Escrituras de la India han glorificado los ejemplos de grandes mujeres como Maitreyi, Sita y Savitri. Sus vidas

The mother’s lap is the school for every man. It is his first temple. Mother is every man’s primary wealth. To recognise this truth about one’s mother is the duty of every person. There is no higher God than the mother. Father is one’s treasure; mother is one’s God. Instead of valuing such precious wealth and Divinity, men engage themselves in all kinds of activities to acquire riches and positions. The father and the mother are inseparable like the word and its meaning. Everyone should cherish one’s parents as embodiments of the Divine. The mother and father may be physically separate, but spiritually they are one. Good mothers are more essential than good wives. A good wife is of value only to her husband. A good mother is a national asset. From ancient times, Indian scriptures have glorified the examples of great women like Maitreyi, Sita, and Savitri.
