Una insidiosa enfermedad se encuentra ahora desenfrenada entre la mayoría de las personas, y es la incredulidad. Ella incinera los pequeños destellos de fe y reduce la vida a rescoldos y cenizas. Tú no tienes criterio para juzgar y sin embargo pretendes hacerlo. La duda, la ira, el veneno, la enfermedad : todas estas tienen que ser frustradas antes de que crezcan. Repite el Nombre del Señor, tengas o no fe. Eso solo inducirá a la fe; eso creará en sí la evidencia sobre la que puede ser construída la fe.Tú le asignas importancia a la cantidad, pero el Señor considera solamente la calidad. Él no calcula cuántas medidas de «arroz dulce» has ofrecido sino cuántas palabras dulces has pronunciado y cuánta dulzura tuvieron tus pensamientos. Ofrécele la fragante hoja de la devoción, las flores de tus emociones e impulsos que estén libres de
las pestes de la lujuria, la ira, etc. Entrégale frutos cultivados en la huerta de tu mente, agrios o dulces, jugosos o secos, amargos o dulces. (Divino Discurso, 8 Febrero 1963 ).

 

An insidious disease is now rampant amongst most people, namely, disbelief. It sets fire to the tiny shoots of faith and reduces life into cinders and ashes. You have no criterion to judge, yet you pretend to judge. Doubt, anger, poison, illness — all these have to be scotched before they grow. Repeat the Lord’s Name, whether you have faith or not. That will itself induce faith; that will itself create the evidence on which faith can be built. You attach importance to quantity, but the Lord considers only quality. He does not calculate how many measures of ‘sweet rice’ you offered but how many sweet words you uttered, and how much sweetness was present in your thoughts. Offer Him the fragrant leaf of devotion, the flowers of your emotions and impulses which are freed from the pests of lust, anger, etc. Give Him fruits grown in the orchard of your mind, sour or sweet, juicy or dry, bitter or sweet. Padres e hijos deben reunirse y cantar la gloria de Dios. Encarnaciones del Amor, sus vidas deben estar dedicadas a Dios. Como un primer paso, deben dedicar unos pocos minutos cada día a la adoración de Su gloria y disfrutar la profundidad de esa gloria. Gradualmente, cuando la dulzura de ese hábito los anime, le dedicarán más y más tiempo y se sentirán con un contento en aumento. El propósito de «vivir» consiste en lograr «vivir en Dios». Todos tienen derecho a esa consagración y consumación. Ustedes son la Verdad, no pierdan la Fe, no se empequeñezcan a sí mismos. Ustedes son Divinos, sin importar si a menudo se deslizan de su humanidad a la animalidad o incluso más bajo. Cultiven el Amor y compártanlo con todos. ¿Cómo pueden darle menos a una persona y más a otra, cuando ambas son lo mismo que ustedes ? Si olvidan la Divinidad
básica, el odio despunta y la envidia levanta cabeza. Vean lo Divino («Atma») en todos. Entonces el Amor surge y la paz desciende como el rocío. (Divino Discurso, 4 julio 1968 )

 

Parents and children must join together and sing the glory of God. Embodiments of love, your life must be dedicated to God: as a first step, you must devote a few minutes everyday to the adoration of His glory and enjoying the depth of that glory. Gradually, when the sweetness of the habit heartens you, you will devote more and more time and feel increasingly content. The purpose of ‘living’ is to achieve ‘living in God’. Everyone is entitled to that consecration and consummation. You are the Truth; do not lose faith; do not belittle yourselves. You are Divine, however often you slide from humanity to animality or even lower. Cultivate Love; share that love with all. How can you give one person less and another more, when they are both the same as you? If you forget the basic Divinity, hatred sprouts and envy raises its hood. See the divine (Atma) in all. Ninguna otra cosa puede darte la bienaventuranza, valor y fortaleza que extraes del Namasmarana ( recitación del Divino Nombre). Incluso si algunas personas se mofan de ti por ello, no le des importancia. Todos deben hacer Namasmarana, sean jóvenes o viejos, ricos o pobres. Canta la gloria de Dios de todo corazón y sin ninguna inhibición, con completa concentración y total dedicación. No tengas temor de nadie, que sólo así podrás experimentar la bienaventuranza divina. Comienza ya mismo este sagrado Namasmarana . Asegúrate de que el Nombre emerja desde el fondo de tu corazón, que toque las cuerdas de él y canta la gloria de Dios. Asegúrate de no tener pensamientos malvados para no producir notas discordantes. Sólo entonces te convertirás en el recipiente de la gracia y energía divinas. ¡ Yo te bendigo para que tengas una vida venturosa
! No necesitas buscar la bienaventuranza afuera, porque está dentro de ti. A partir de hoy, permite que tu devoción y entrega crezcan más. No temas y canta la gloria del Señor doquiera que estés y lleva la vida de un verdadero ser humano. (Divino Discurso, 14 Abril 2002).

 

Nothing else can give you the bliss, courage and strength that you derive from namasmarana (chanting of the Divine Name). Even if some people make fun of you, do not bother about it. You may be young or old, rich or poor, everybody must do namasmarana. Sing the glory of God wholeheartedly without any inhibition, with full concentration and total dedication. Do not be afraid of anyone. Only then can you experience divine bliss. Begin this sacred namasmarana right from this moment. Take care to see the Name emerges from the core of your heart. Play on the veena of your heart and sing the glory of God. Ensure that you do not have evil thoughts as they produce discordant notes. Only then you will become the recipient of divine grace and energy. I bless you to lead a blissful life! You don’t need to search for bliss outside. It is within you. From today, let your devotion and sense of surrender grow more. Be fearless and sing the glory of the Lord

Hoy muchas personas no dan importancia a la recitación del Nombre del Señor. Es un gran error. Muchos están pasando por un sinfín de problemas porque no están haciendo Namasmarana. En la época actual (Khali), el solo cantar el divino nombre puede redimir sus vidas. ¡ No existe otro refugio ! Cantar la gloria del Señor es altamente sagrado. Hay muchas serpientes de malévolas cualidades en los recovecos de tu corazón. Cuando recites el divino nombre, todas las malignas serpientes se marcharán. El Namasmarana es como el Nadaswaram que atrae a las serpientes y las saca de sus madrigueras. Permite que este delicado nombre (Nadaswaram) sea tu aliento de vida (Jeevanaswaram). Repite incesantemente el nombre de Dios a efectos de librarte de tus malas cualidades. Haz que todas y cada una de las calles reverberen con el canto de la divina gloria. Haz que todas y cada una de las
células de tu cuerpo se llenen con el divino nombre. (Divino Discurso, 14 Abril 2002).

 

Today many people do not attach importance to reciting Lord’s Name. It is a great mistake. Many are facing a lot of problems because they are not doing namasmarana. In the present age (Kali) chanting the divine name alone can redeem your lives. There is no other refuge! Singing the Lord’s glory is highly sacred. There are many snakes of wicked qualities in the anthill of your heart. When you recite the divine name, all the ‘snakes’ of bad qualities will come out. Namasmarana is like nadaswaram which attracts snakes and brings them out of anthills. Let this mellifluous name (nadaswaram) be your breath of life (jeevanaswaram). Repeat God’s name incessantly in order to get rid of evil qualities. Let each and every street reverberate with the singing of divine glory. Let each and every cell of your body be filled with divine name. (Divine Discourse, April 14, 2002)
