Primero y principal, vuelvan puro su corazón. Es la única pureza que atrae a la Divinidad. Si las limaduras de hierro están oxidadas, aún el imán más poderoso no las atraerá. Las limaduras de hierro pueden culpar al magneto, diciendo que no tiene poder. Pero el magneto les dice, «Pueden pensar lo que deseen, No me preocupa. Libérense del óxido y vuélvanse puras. Solo entonces las voy a atraer.» De la misma manera, ¿cómo esperas que Dios sea atraído hacia tu mente, la cual está oxidada con pensamientos malvados? Vean lo bueno, escuchen cosas buenas, hablen palabras buenas y agradables y lleven a cabo actividades sagradas. Si actúan de esta forma, sin que lo pidan, Dios ciertamente derramará Su gracia sobre ustedes. La contemplación de Dios es el único modo de mantener los sentidos puros. Todas las prácticas espirituales

First and foremost, make your heart pure. It is only purity that attracts Divinity. If the iron filings are rusted, even the most powerful magnet will not attract them. The iron filings may blame the magnet, saying it has no power. But the magnet tells them, “You may think as you please, I am not bothered. Get rid of the rust and become pure. Only then will I attract you.” In the same manner, how do you expect God to attract your mind, which is rusted with evil thoughts? See good, listen to good things, speak good and pleasant words, and undertake sacred activities. If you act in this manner, without your asking itself God will certainly bestow His grace on you. Contemplation on God is the only means to keep the senses pure. All the spiritual practices are meant to exercise control over the senses. (Divine Discourse, Feb 22, 2001)

El cuerpo humano está hecho para servir a otros, no para entregarlo a acciones egoístas. Como el egoísmo se ha convertido en una parte y porción de tu vida, te complaces con muchas actividades pecaminosas. Rehúye el egoísmo, dirígete a actividades de servicio altruista. Renuncia a los apegos del cuerpo. Conviértete en apegado al Ser. Comprende que el mismo Ser (Atma) existe en cada uno. Aunque encuentres miríadas de lamparitas brillando aquí, la corriente que pasa a través de ellas es la misma. Los cuerpos son como las bombillas; el principio del Atma es la corriente que está presente en ellos. Con tal sentimiento de unidad, haz esfuerzos para aliviar el sufrimiento de tus semejantes. El sabio Vyasa dio la esencia de los dieciocho Puranas en el siguiente dicho – “Paropakaraya Punyaya, Papaya Parapidanam” *uno obtiene méritos sirviendo a otros y
comete pecado al lastimarlos). Así que ayuden siempre, nunca dañen. No hay práctica (sadhana) más elevada que esta. ¡Este es el cimiento de la auto realización! Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Divino Discurso del 14 de abril de 2001

 

Human body is meant to serve others, not to indulge in selfish deeds. As selfishness has become part and parcel of your life, you indulge in many sinful activities. Eschew selfishness, take to selfless service. Give up attachment towards the body. Become attached to the Self. Understand that the same Self (Atma) exists in everybody. Though you find myriad bulbs glowing here, the current that is passing through them is the same. Bodies are like bulbs; the principle of the Atma is the current that is present in them. With such a feeling of oneness, make efforts to alleviate the suffering of your fellowmen. Sage Vyasa has given the essence of eighteen Puranas in the following dictum – “Paropakaraya Punyaya, Papaya Parapidanam” (one attains merit by serving others and commits sin by hurting them). So help ever, hurt never. There is no higher spiritual practice (sadhana) than this. This is the foundation for self-realisation! (Divine Discourse,

¡Descubran su santidad, su divinidad, la verdad real! Algunas veces, puede que tengan dudas de cuál acción es correcta (dharmic), cuál es la verdad ( Sathya), cuál es amor divino (prema), y así. Yo entiendo; pero nadie tiene dudas acerca de sí mismo, ¿no es cierto? Entonces, averigüen quiénes son y permanezcan leales y establecidos en esa investigación de la verdad.¡ Eso nada más es suficiente para salvarse, para darles gozo infinito! Esta es la esencia de las enseñanzas de los Vedas y Upanishads, esto fue experimentado por sabios y santos y explicado por eruditos en sus discursos. Recuerden al Dios en el cual se mueven, el Dios que hace que se muevan, el Dios quien es todo este vasto universo, cada átomo, y cada gigantesca estrella . Seleccionen cualquier Nombre y Forma para este Dios todo abarcante e inmanente, que les sea atractivo y

Discover your holiness, your divinity, the real truth! At times, you may have doubts as to which action is righteous (dharmic), which is the truth (Satya), which is divine love (prema), and so on. I understand; but no one has any doubts about themselves, is it not? So, find out who you are and remain true and fixed in that enquiry for truth. That alone is enough to save you, to give you everlasting joy! This is the essence of the teachings from the Vedas and Upanishads, this was experienced by our sages and saints and expounded by scholars in their discourses. Remember the God in whom you move, the God who makes you move, the God who is all this vast universe, every atom, and every huge star. Select any Name and Form for this all-pervasive immanent God that appeals to you and keep those on your tongue and before your mental eye. Deben hace feliz a su madre. Cuando no pueden hacer feliz a su madre, ¿cómo pueden estar en paz? No tiene sentido adorar a Dios sin reverenciar a los propios padres. En consecuencia, primero ofrezcan adoración a su madre, ya que ella es quien les ha dado nacimiento. Solo si el corazón de la madre es nectarino, todo el mundo será nectarino. La divinidad del Señor Rama floreció bajo el amoroso cuidado de Kausalya. Ya que Él había nacido del vientre de Kausalya, obtuvo cualidades de Kausalya. Es por ello que Él es adorado como Dios. Shivaji pudo hacer tanto sacrificio por el país porque había nacido de la dama pura, Jijabai. Es por la nobleza de la madre que los niños alcanzan buena fortuna. Entonces, ¡encarnaciones del amor! No hay nada más allá del amor. Solo el amor es la fuente primordial de toda la buena fortuna Deberían, en

You must make your mother happy. When you cannot make your mother happy, how can you be peaceful? It is meaningless to worship God without revering one’s own parents. Hence first offer worship to your mother as she is the one who has given you birth. Only if the mother’s heart is nectarous will the whole world be nectarous. Lord Rama’s divinity blossomed under the loving care of Kausalya. As He was born from the womb of Kausalya, He got the qualities of Kausalya. That is why He is worshipped as God. Shivaji could do so much sacrifice for the country because he was born to the pure lady, Jijabai. It is because of the nobility of the mother that the children attain good fortune. So, embodiments of love! There is nothing beyond love. Only love is the mainspring of all your good fortune. You should therefore adore and worship the mother who is the embodiment of love.
