Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam

OM SRI SAI RAM

Ya que se dicen devotos de Sai, ¿no deberían adherir estrictamente al camino demostrado por Swami, haciendo felices a todos? Cuando sigan Mis pasos, con seguridad lograrán resultados sagrados y obtendrán un buen nombre. Siendo devotos de Sai, abandonen el egoísmo y consagren su vida al bienestar de la sociedad. El sabio Vyasa dio en dos frases la esencia de los dieciocho Puranas (Sagradas Escrituras): «Paropakaraya punyaya, papaya para peedanam» (Se obtiene mérito al servir a los demás, y se comete pecado al hacerles daño»). Este es el principio central de la cultura bharatiya. Cuando ayuden al prójimo, recibirán diez veces más ayuda. Si dañan a los demás, padecerán diez veces más. Llenen su vida de amor. Dejen de criticar a los demás. Respeten incluso a quienes los odian. El odio es una mala cualidad; los arruinará.
Por eso, líbrense de esa maldad. Amen a todos. Ayuden a los pobres y a los necesitados, en la medida de lo posible. (Divino Discurso, 13 de abril de 2002)

 

As you claim to be Sai devotees, should you not strictly adhere to the path shown by Swami and make everyone happy? When you follow My footsteps, you will certainly achieve sacred results and earn a good name. Being Sai devotees, give up selfishness and dedicate your lives for the welfare of the society. Sage Vyasa has given the essence of eighteen puranas (scriptures) in two sentences, “Paropakaraya punyaya, papaya para peedanam” (you attain merit by serving others and commit sin by hurting them). This is the main principle of Bharatiya culture. When you help others, you will receive help tenfold. If you harm others, you will be put to harm ten times more. Fill your lives with love. Stop criticizing others. Respect even those who hate you. Hatred is a bad quality. It will ruin you. Hence, get rid of this evil. Love everyone. Help the poor and the needy to the extent possible. No menosprecien sus talentos; cuando bucean profundamente dentro de ustedes mismos, pueden descubrir la fuente de toda fuerza. Millones de hormigas caminando sobre una roca pueden grabar un profundo surco a lo largo de su senda. Los diminutos pies de la hormiga tienen esa capacidad. Tal vez hayan visto en las paredes que rodean los pozos de las aldeas, cómo se producen huecos en los bloques de granito, por el continuo apoyar de vasijas de agua. Las vasijas están hechas de barro, pero con los años desgastan hasta el más duro granito, creando huecos allí donde se asientan. Dentro de ustedes, la encarnación del Uno Mismo (Atma-swarupam) no es una encarnación insignificante (alpa-swarupam). ¡El Atma no es anémica! Es una poderosa dínamo, capaz de generar enorme potencia. Su maestro espiritual (gurú) les enseña la meta (guri); pero ustedes deben generar la potencia por
sí mismos, mediante su propio esfuerzo espiritual. (Divino Discurso, 23 de noviembre de 1964)

 

Do not demean your talents; when you dive deep into yourselves, you can discover the source of all strength. Millions of ants creeping over a rock can carve a deep groove along their path. The minute feet of the ant have that power. You might have seen how on the walls around the village wells, hollows are produced on granite slabs by the continuous placing of water pots! The pots are made of mud, but over the years they erase even the hardest granite and cause the hollows where they rest! The embodiment of the Self (Atma-swarupam) within you is not an insignificant embodiment (alpa-swarupam)! The Atma is not anaemic! It is a powerful dynamo, capable of generating enormous power. Your spiritual teacher (Guru) shows you the goal (guri); but you must generate the power yourself, by your own spiritual effort. (Divine Discourse, Nov 23, 1964)

Ustedes deben sentir una inseparable afinidad con el Señor, tan inseparable como la de la ola con el mar. Tendrán que seguir el camino de Radha, Meera, Gouranga y Tukaram. Son realmente de la misma esencia, el mismo sabor y la misma característica que el mar, aunque tengan el nombre y la forma de la ola. La manteca, cuando está en la leche, es inmanente en ella y no tiene nombre ni forma separados; pero si la ponen aparte, tiene un nombre y una forma que la hacen diferente de la leche. Tampoco el ghee (manteca clarificada) tiene ninguna forma en particular mientras se halla líquido, pero tiene forma cuando se endurece . De la misma manera, cuando Madhava-tatwam (el estado divino) asume una forma, es Manava (el Hombre). (Divino Discurso, 10 de octubre de 1964)

 

You must feel an inseparable affinity with the Lord, as inseparable as the wave and the sea. You will have to follow the path of Radha, Meera, Gouranga and Tukaram. You are really of the same essence, the same taste, the same quality as the sea, though you have the name and form of the wave. Butter, when in the milk, is immanent in it and has no separate name and form; but take it out and it has a name and form which makes it distinct from milk. Ghee (clarified butter) too when liquid has no particular form, but when it hardens, it has a form. So too Madhava-tatwam (Divine state) when it assumes a form, it is manava (Man). Krishna demostró que si ustedes practican el sadhana de la constante presencia de Dios, con toda seguridad lograrán la victoria. Tomen al señor como su auriga; Él los conducirá a través de los peores riesgos. Él no tiene favoritos ni rivales. Como el fuego, irradia calor a todos los que están cerca de Él. Si ustedes no sienten el calor, no Lo culpen: cúlpense a sí mismos por estar lejos de Él. Miren a Bhisma; él rogó al mismo Krishna que había jurado matarlo, que le otorgara la visión de Su divino esplendor. Esto es auténtica devoción, verdadero jnana o sabiduría. Krishna respondió a su plegaria, y lo bendijo. Hiranyakashipu dijo: «Él no está en ninguna parte», y en consecuencia, para él, Dios no estuvo en ninguna parte. Prahlada afirmó: «Él está en todas
partes», y el Señor apareció desde la columna, poniendo en evidencia el valor de Prahlada. ¡Dios no tuvo que correr para hallar la columna y luego salir de ella! Estuvo allí todo el tiempo; solo se hizo visible. (Divino Discurso, 23 de noviembre de 1964)

 

Krishna demonstrated that if you practice the sadhana of the constant presence of God, you are bound to achieve victory. Take the Lord as your charioteer; He will steer you through the heaviest odds. He has no favourites or rivals. Like fire, He spreads warmth to all who are near Him. If you do not feel the warmth, do not blame Him: blame yourself that you are far from Him. Look at Bhishma; he prayed to the very Krishna who had vowed to kill him to grant him a vision of His divine splendour! That is true devotion, real jnana or wisdom! Krishna responded to his prayer and blessed him. Hiranyakashipu said, ‘He is nowhere’ and so, God was nowhere for him; Prahlada asserted ‘He is everywhere,’ and Lord appeared from the pillar and proved his mettle! God did not have to run, find the pillar and come out of it! He was there all along, just made Himself visible! (Divine Discourse, Nov 23, 1964)
