Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam

Las esferas celestes giran y se desintegran. El tiempo es fugaz, una edad sigue a otra, y una era sucede a otra. Los cuerpos que han nacido, crecen y mueren, pero por ningún lado se aprecia el impulso por santificar la existencia con buenas obras y buenos pensamientos. La fragrancia de una sincera práctica espiritual («Sadhana») no se observa en ninguna parte en los tiempos que corren. Mediante el proceso del desapego, grandes logros pueden ser alcanzados. Cultiva el desapego y será el Señor mismo quien se apegue a ti. El pasado está más allá de toda recuperación; esos días ya no vuelven más, pero el mañana se te está aproximando. Resuélvete a santificarlo con Amor, Servicio, y «Sadhana». Ama, adora y sirve al Señor Todopoderoso («Sarveshwara») quien reside en toda la Humanidad, y mediante tal acción toma conciencia de Él. Ese es el
más alto «Sadhana». Sirve a todo ser como a Dios mismo. Entrega alimento al hambriento, comida que es el don de la diosa Naturaleza. Ofrécela con amor y con humildad, endulzada con el nombre del Señor. (Divino Discurso, Marzo 29 1968).

 

Celestial spheres are revolving and disintegrating. Time is fleeting. Age follows age. Era succeeds era. Bodies that have taken birth, grow and end. But the urge to sanctify life with good works and good thoughts is nowhere evident. The fragrance of sincere spiritual practice (sadhana) is not found anywhere in the present times. Through the process of ‘giving up’, great things can be achieved. Cultivate detachment, and the Lord will attach Himself to you. The past is beyond recovery; those days are gone. But tomorrow is coming towards you. Resolve to sanctify it with Love, Service and Sadhana. Love, adore and serve the Almighty Lord (Sarveshwara) who is resident in all mankind and through that realise Him. That is the highest Sadhana. Serve every being as God. Give food to the hungry, food that is the gift of Goddess Nature; give it with love and humility. Give it, sweetened with the name of the Lord. (Divine Discourse, Mar 29,

La vida no es otra cosa que el intervalo entre el nacimiento y la muerte, una procesión hacia la tumba que comienza en el mismo momento del nacimiento. Los tigres yacen agazapados al acecho junto a los senderos en la jungla. Cuando divisan su presa, se abalanzan en el momento adecuado y arrastran lo capturado hasta su cubil. De manera similar, la muerte yace al acecho de cada ser. Sigue tras tus pasos de manera silenciosa y cuando llega la hora salta y echa su zarpa al hilo de la vida. En este difícil viaje de la vida, ten a Dios como tu lámpara y llegarás a tu destino con seguridad. ¡Resuelve este mismo día adoptar la práctica espiritual de recitar siempre el Nombre del Señor que hayas elegido!. ¡Da la bienvenida al hábito de leer obras épicas tal como le das la bienvenida a una medicina eficaz ! Estas lecturas curan enfermedades enraizadas profundamente en la mente .
Acepta a los Mantras como remedio para curar fobias mentales, desarreglos de los sentidos internos y los defectos de la conciencia interior. Los Mantras clarifican tu visión , te fortalecen y te hacen consecuente en el camino hacia Dios. (Divino Discurso, 29 Marzo 1968).

 

Life is but the interval between birth and death, a procession towards the grave that starts at the very moment of birth. Tigers lie in wait in a bush by the jungle track; when they spot their prey, at the right moment they pounce, and drag the catch to their lair. So too, death lies in wait for every being. It trails behind you with silent paws and when the hour strikes, it leaps and snaps the thread of life. In this difficult journey of life, have God as your lamp, you will reach your destination safely. Resolve this day to adopt this spiritual practice of reciting your chosen Lord’s Name always! Welcome the habit of reading epics as you welcome efficacious drugs! They cure deep-rooted illnesses of the mind. Accept mantras as medicines, to cure the phobias of the mind, the disabilities of the inner senses, and the defects of the inner consciousness. They clarify your vision and make you strong and steady on the Godward path.

La Gracia de Dios es como una chaparrón de lluvia o como la luz solar. Debes efectuar alguna práctica espiritual («Sadhana») para recibirla…el «Sadhana» de mantener erecta una vasija para recolectar la lluvia, o el abrir la puerta de tu corazón para que el sol lo ilumine. Al igual que la música que es propalada por radio y que está toda a tu alrededor, pero que requiere encender tu receptor y sintonizarlo en la longitud de onda apropiada para poder disfrutarla. Haz al menos un pequeño «Sadhana» y ora para obtener la Gracia, que esta enderezará todo y te otorgará la auto-realización («Atma Sakshatkara») y también otros beneficios colaterales como una vida feliz y contenta, con un temperamento valeroso establecido en una paz imperturbable. El árbol del plátano brinda grandes racimos de fruta como su principal don, pero sus hojas, la suave médula del tronco, y
el capullo de su flor son elementos subsidiarios que pueden ser utilizados provechosamente. Así es la Gracia de Dios, que da respuesta a una variedad de necesidades. (Divino Discurso, 29 Marzo 1968 )

 

God’s grace is like the shower of rain or sunlight. You must do some spiritual practice (sadhana) to receive it, the sadhana of keeping a pot upright to receive the rain, or opening the door of your heart so that the Sun may illumine it. Like the music that is broadcast over the radio, it is all around you; but you must switch on your receiver and tune to the wavelength so that you can enjoy it. Do at least little sadhana and pray for grace. Grace will set everything right. Grace will grant you self-realisation (Atma Sakshatkara) and other incidental benefits too like a happy contented life and a cool courageous temper established in unruffled peace. The plantain tree has bunches of fruits as its main gift. But its leaves, soft core of the trunk, and flower bud, are subsidiary items that can be profitably used. This is the nature of Grace. It fulfils a variety of wants. (Divine Discourse, Mar 29, 1968)

Si quieres ver a Dios, debes creer firmemente que no eres el cuerpo. Identificarse con el cuerpo no es más que una ilusión. Todo lo que se ve afuera es solo un reflejo y no es la realidad. Cualquier cosa que veas y con quien te encuentres, considera cada forma como la manifestación de la Divinidad. No des lugar a diferencias de «yo» y «usted». Donde quiera que veas, todo en la creación de Dios es reacción, reflexión y resonancia. Te miras en un espejo y dices que estás en el espejo. De hecho, no estás en el espejo. Es solo tu reflejo el que aparece en el espejo. Cuando vas detrás de la colina y gritas «hola», inmediatamente escucharás a alguien gritándote con la misma intensidad. De hecho, esa voz te pertenece solo a ti, a nadie más. Lo que sea que veas afuera es el reflejo de tu ser interior. [Discurso Divino, 21 de marzo de 2004].

 

If you want to see God, you should firmly believe that you are not the body. To identify yourself with the body is but an illusion. All that is seen outside is only a reflection and is not the reality. Whatever you see and whomever you come across, consider every form as nothing but the manifestation of Divinity. Do not give scope for differences of ‘I’ and ‘you’. Wherever you see, everything in God’s creation is reaction, reflection and resound. You look into a mirror and say that you are in the mirror. In fact, you are not in the mirror. It is only your reflection that appears in the mirror. When you go behind the hill and shout “Hello”, you will immediately hear someone shouting at you with the same intensity. In fact that voice belongs to you only, not to anyone else. Whatever you see outside is the reflection of your inner being. [Divine Discourse, Mar 21, 2004].
