Practiquen las tres disciplinas de silencio, limpieza y tolerancia. En el silencio la voz de Dios se puede oír, no en el jolgorio del ruido. A través de la limpieza obtienen pureza. Por medio de la tolerancia, cultivan el amor. Yo soy suyo; ustedes son Míos, por siempre y para siempre. Yo estoy en ustedes; ustedes están en Mí. Icen la bandera de Prashanti en su propio corazón. La bandera es un recordatorio de su deber hacia ustedes mismos. Les recuerda que deben superar el impulso de los bajos deseos, de la ira y el odio cuando se ven frustrados sus deseos; les exhorta a expandir su corazón para que abarque a toda la humanidad, a toda vida y a toda creación; les insta a calmar sus impulsos y a reflexionar con calma sobre su propia realidad interior. Les asegura que, cuando lo hagan, el loto de su corazón florecerá, y desde su centro se elevará la llama de la visión
divina, que garantiza prashanti (paz infinita). (Discurso Divino, 23 de noviembre de 1968).

 

Practise the three disciplines of silence, cleanliness and forbearance. In silence the voice of God can be heard, not in the revelry of noise. Through cleanliness you earn purity. By forbearance, you cultivate love. I am yours; you are Mine, forever and ever. I am in you; you are in Me. Hoist the Flag of Prasanthi in your own heart. The flag is a reminder of your duty to yourself. It reminds you to overcome the urge of low desires, of anger and hate when your desires are thwarted; it exhorts you to expand your heart so that you embrace all humanity, all life and all creation; it directs you to quieten your impulses and calmly meditate on your own inner reality. It assures you that, when you do so, the lotus of your heart will bloom, and from its center will arise the flame of divine vision, which guarantees prasanthi (infinite peace). Ofrezcan todo su ser, su vida, a Él; entonces su adoración los transformará y transmutará tan rápida y tan completamente que ustedes y Él pueden fundirse en Uno. Él piensa, siente y actúa como lo hacen ustedes; ustedes piensan, sienten y actúan como lo hace Él. Ustedes serán transformados como una roca es transformada por el escultor, en un ídolo, mereciendo la adoración de las generaciones de hombres sinceros. En el proceso tendrán que soportar más de un martillazo, más de una herida de cincel, porque Él es el escultor. ¡Él sólo los está liberando de la petrificación! Ofrezcan su corazón al Señor, y sufran gustosamente la transformación en Sus manos. No contaminen el tiempo, ni la envoltura física, ni la oportunidad de esta vida, utilizándolos para fines mezquinos.
Su vida no es sino una larga peregrinación en la que entraron cuando nacieron, y no puede terminar incluso cuando se mueran. Nunca olviden eso. Sean puros, estén alerta y sean humildes como deben ser los peregrinos. (Discurso Divino 23 de noviembre de 1968).

 

Offer your entire self, your life Unto Him; then your adoration will transform and transmute you so fast and so completely that you and He can be merged into One. He thinks, feels and acts as you do; you think, feel and act as He does. You will be transformed as a rock is transformed by the sculptor, into an idol, deserving the worship of generations of sincere men. In the process you will have to bear many a hammer stroke, many a chisel-wound, for He is the sculptor. He is but releasing you from petrification! Offer your heart to the Lord, and gladly suffer transformation at His hands. Do not defile time, or the physical sheath, or this life’s chance, using them for paltry ends. Your life is but one long pilgrimage which you entered when you were born, and may not end even when you die. Never forget that. Be pure, alert and humble as pilgrims ought to be. Consideren el significado del nombre «Sai Baba ‘. ‘Sa’ significa Divino; ‘Ai’ o ‘ayi’ significa madre, y ‘Baba’ significa padre. Sus padres físicos exhiben amor con una dosis de egoísmo; pero Sai, su Divina Madre y Divino Padre, derrama afecto o reprimendas sólo para conducirlos hacia la victoria en la lucha por la auto-realización. Sai descendió como Avatar para lograr la suprema tarea de unir a toda la humanidad como una familia a través del lazo de la hermandad, de afirmar e iluminar la realidad Divina (Átmica) en cada ser. La Divinidad es la base de todo el cosmos, y Mi misión es instruir a todos para que reconozcan la herencia divina común que une a las personas entre sí, ¡para que puedan librarse del animal, y elevarse a lo Divino! Deseo que contemplen en esto, que obtengan alegría de ello y se inspiren para observar las disciplinas espirituales que
establecí para el progreso hacia el objetivo de la realización de Sai, que brilla en sus corazones. (Divino Discurso, 19 de junio de 1974).

 

Consider the meaning of the name ‘Sai Baba’. ‘Sa’ means Divine; ‘ai’ or ‘ayi’ means mother, and ‘Baba’ means father. Your physical parents exhibit love with a dose of selfishness; but Sai, your Divine Mother and Father, showers affection or reprimands only to lead you towards victory in the struggle for self-realisation. Sai descended as Avatar to achieve the supreme task of uniting the entire mankind as one family through the bond of brotherhood, of affirming and illumining the Divine (Atmic) reality in every being. Divinity is the basis for the entire cosmos, and My mission is to instruct all to recognise the common divine heritage that binds one person to another, so that you can rid yourself of the animal, and rise to the Divine! I desire that you contemplate on this, derive joy and be inspired to observe the spiritual disciplines I laid down to progress toward the goal of realising Sai, who shines in your hearts. Dado que me movía libremente entre la gente, hablando y cantando con ellos, incluso los intelectuales eran incapaces de comprender Mi verdad, Mi poder, Mi gloria, ni Mi verdadera tarea como Avatar. Puedo resolver cualquier problema sin importar cuán dificultoso sea. Estoy más allá del alcance de la investigación más intensiva y la medición más meticulosa. Sólo aquellos que han reconocido Mi amor y lo han experimentado pueden afirmar que han vislumbrado Mi realidad. No intenten conocerme a través de los ojos externos. Cuando van a un templo y se paran frente a la imagen de Dios, oran con los ojos cerrados, ¿verdad? ¿Por qué? Porque sienten que sólo el ojo interior de la sabiduría puede revelárselos. Por tanto, no ansíen de mí objetos materiales triviales; sino que, anhélenme a mí desde su interior, y serán
recompensados. El camino del Amor es el camino real que conduce a la humanidad hacia Mí. Mi gracia está siempre a disposición de los devotos que tienen amor y fe firmes. (Discurso Divino, 19 de junio de 1974).

 

Since I moved freely among people, talking and singing with them, even intellectuals were unable to grasp My truth, My power, My glory, or My real task as Avatar. I can solve any problem however knotty. I am beyond the reach of the most intensive enquiry and the most meticulous measurement. Only those who have recognised My love and experienced it can assert that they have glimpsed My reality. Do not attempt to know Me through the external eyes. When you go to a temple and stand before the image of God, you pray with closed eyes, don’t you? Why? Because you feel that the inner eye of wisdom alone can reveal Him to you. Therefore do not crave from Me trivial material objects; but, crave for Me from within, and you will be rewarded. The path of Love is the royal road that leads mankind to Me. My grace is ever available to devotees who have steady love and faith. (Divine Discourse, 19 June 1974)
