El bien y el mal residen en la mente; no están afuera. Por consiguiente, en primera instancia
corrijan sus sentimientos. Desháganse de todas las cualidades animales, de modo que la humanidad pueda florecer en ustedes. Si notan aún una traza de odio en ustedes, aléjenla al instante. Habiendo tenido un nacimiento humano, es vergonzoso que tengan una cualidad maligna como el odio. No caigan presas del deseo. Deberían sentirse atraídos solo hacia Dios y nadie más. Aman a su hijo porque lo consideran su reflejo. Por cierto, quien los ama, quien los odia o quien los critica, son todo su propio reflejo. Por un momento podemos estar enojados y más adelante el enojo puede dar paso al amor. Amen a Dios con todo el corazón. El amor por Dios transformará sus corazones. Good and bad lie in your mind; they are not outside. Hence correct your feelings in the first instance. Get rid of all animal qualities so that humaneness can blossom in you. If you notice even a trace of hatred in yourself, drive it away at once. Having attained human birth, it is shameful on your part to have evil qualities like hatred. Do not fall prey to infatuation. You should be attracted only towards God and none else. You love your son because you consider him to be your reflection. In fact, the one who loves you, the one who hates you, or the one who criticises you – all are your own reflections. At one time, one may be angry and later the anger may give way to love. Love God with all your heart. Love for God will transform your heart. It will drive away hatred and other evil qualities. You can achieve anything through love. (Divine Discourse, Feb 26, 2006)

No hay nada más que la Divinidad en este mundo. El principio de la Divinidad presente en un grano de arena y en un gran laddu (dulce) es uno y el mismo. Una vez que se dan cuenta de esta verdad, ciertamente se convierten en Brahman. Ustedes están sometidos a la inquietud y el sufrimiento a causa del sentimiento de dualidad. Perciben la unidad como diversidad, en lugar de ver la unidad en la diversidad. El número uno es la base para todos los otros números. Del mismo modo, los nombres y formas pueden variar, pero todos son uno esencialmente. No hay segunda persona. Aparte de Dios, en este mundo no hay una segunda entidad. Muchos aspirantes espirituales y yoguis han hecho esfuerzos mancomunados para comprender este principio de la Divinidad. Finalmente se dieron cuenta de que: Ekam sat viprah bahudha vadanti (la Verdad es una, pero los sabios se refieren a ella con diferentes nombres). Como ustedes no han entendido esta

There is nothing other than Divinity in this world. The principle of Divinity present in a grain of sand and in a big laddu (delicacy) is one and the same. Once you realise this truth, you become Brahman verily. You are subjected to unrest and suffering because of your dualistic feeling. You perceive unity as diversity, instead of visualising unity in diversity. Number one is the basis for all other numbers. Likewise, names and forms vary, but all are essentially one. There is no second person. Other than Divinity, there is no second entity in this world. Many spiritual aspirants and yogis have made concerted efforts to understand the principle of Divinity. They ultimately realised, Ekam sat viprah bahudha vadanti (Truth is one, but the wise refer to it by various names). As you have not understood this truth, you are deluded by the apparent duality. Lo más esencial es que comprendan que todo sucede por Su voluntad. Pase lo que pase es para su propio bien. Con tal firme convicción, deberían aceptar con ecuanimidad tanto el placer como el dolor, tanto el bien como el mal. Puede serles difícil soportar las desgracias. Deben orar a Dios para que les otorgue la fortaleza necesaria para sobrellevarlas. Las dificultades son como nubes pasajeras. Seguramente darán paso a la felicidad. El hombre siempre se esfuerza por la felicidad. ¿Cómo pueden conseguirla? La verdadera felicidad reside en la unión con Dios. De hecho, Dios está más allá de la felicidad o la pena. Hagan lo que hagan , Él dice: «Tathastu» (Así será). Dios derrama sus bendiciones sobre ustedes diciendo: «Que así sea, por tu propio bien». Serán libres del sufrimiento cuando comprendan el Bhagavad-tatva (la naturaleza de la
Divinidad). Si están pasando por dificultades, no se desanimen. Tengan fe en que Dios los está haciendo atravesar esta difícil experiencia por su propio bien. Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. (Divino Discurso del 26 de febrero de 2006)

 

It is most essential you understand that everything happens as per His will. Whatever happens is for your own good. With such firm conviction, you should accept pleasure and pain, good and bad with equanimity. It may be difficult for you to bear misfortunes. You should pray to God to grant you the necessary strength to bear them. Difficulties are like passing clouds. They will certainly give way to happiness. Man always strives for happiness. How can one attain it? True happiness lies in union with God. In fact, God is beyond happiness and sorrow. Whatever you may do, He says, “Tathastu” (So shall it be). He showers His blessings on you saying, “Let it be for your own good”. You will be free from sorrow once you understand the Bhagavad-tatva (nature of Divinity). If you are undergoing difficulties, do not get disheartened. Have faith that God is making you go through the ordeal for your own good. (Divine Discourse, Feb 26,

La vida humana es altamente sagrada y misteriosa. Solo Dios puede desentrañar su misterio. Visweswara (el Señor del universo) permea el universo entero. Él trasciende toda descripción. Está presente en ustedes bajo la forma del Atma. Hay un solo camino para tomar conciencia del Atma. Abandonen el sentimiento de «mío». Una vez que se libren de tal apego mundano, desarrollarán pureza, firmeza y desprendimiento. Estarán libres de sufrimiento, preocupación y ansiedad. Finalmente, alcanzarán moksha (la liberación). Habiendo logrado manavatwa (la humanidad), deben esforzarse por subir al nivel de Madhavatwa (la divinidad). Esa es su meta. ¿De qué sirve quedarse para siempre en manavatwa? Para elevarse al nivel de la Divinidad deben cultivar sanmati (una mente pura). La unidad confiere pureza, la cual a su vez conducirá a la divinidad. Por eso todos deben
permanecer unidos. Ustedes pertenecen a la raza humana. Pertenecen a una sola familia. (Divino Discurso, 26 de febrero de 2006)

 

Human life is highly sacred and mysterious. Only God can unravel its mystery. Visweswara (the Lord of the universe) permeates the entire universe. He transcends all descriptions. He is present in you in the form of atma. There is only one path for the realisation of atma. Give up the feeling of ‘mine’. You say ‘this is mine and that is mine’. Once you get rid of such worldly attachment, you will develop purity, steadiness and selflessness. You will be free from suffering, worries and anxiety. Ultimately, you will attain moksha (liberation). Having attained manavatwa (humanness), you should make efforts to rise to the level of Madhavatwa (Divinity). That is your goal. What is the use if you remain in manavatwa forever? You should develop sanmati (pure mind) to rise to the level of the Divine. Unity confers purity which will in turn lead to Divinity. Hence, all of you must stand united. You belong to the human race. You belong to
