Si quieres ver a Dios, debes creer firmemente que no eres el cuerpo. Identificarse con el cuerpo no es más que una ilusión. Todo lo que se ve afuera es solo un reflejo y no es la realidad. Cualquier cosa que veas y con quien te encuentres, considera cada forma como la manifestación de la Divinidad. No des lugar a diferencias de «yo» y «usted». Donde quiera que veas, todo en la creación de Dios es reacción, reflexión y resonancia. Te miras en un espejo y dices que estás en el espejo. De hecho, no estás en el espejo. Es solo tu reflejo el que aparece en el espejo. Cuando vas detrás de la colina y gritas «hola», inmediatamente escucharás a alguien gritándote con la misma intensidad. De hecho, esa voz te pertenece solo a ti, a nadie más. Lo que sea que veas afuera es el reflejo de tu ser interior. [Discurso Divino, 21 de marzo de 2004].

 

If you want to see God, you should firmly believe that you are not the body. To identify yourself with the body is but an illusion. All that is seen outside is only a reflection and is not the reality. Whatever you see and whomever you come across, consider every form as nothing but the manifestation of Divinity. Do not give scope for differences of ‘I’ and ‘you’. Wherever you see, everything in God’s creation is reaction, reflection and resound. You look into a mirror and say that you are in the mirror. In fact, you are not in the mirror. It is only your reflection that appears in the mirror. When you go behind the hill and shout “Hello”, you will immediately hear someone shouting at you with the same intensity. In fact that voice belongs to you only, not to anyone else. Desarrolla la cualidad del amor. No odies a nadie Desarrolla la fe de que pase lo que pase es por tu propio bien. Cuando encuentres alguna dificultad o sufrimiento, solo tú eres responsable de ello. Respeta a los demás. Solo eso te protegerá. Por otro lado, si insultas a alguien, ese acto te castigará. El placer y el dolor son los productos de tu propia creación. El mérito o pecado cometido por ti te seguirá como una sombra. A la gente de hoy en día le encanta dar sermones a otros. Pero no están siguiendo sus propios preceptos. ¿Qué valor tendrán tales enseñanzas? Todo eso es un mero engaño. Cualquier enseñanza que leas o escuches, nunca podrá ayudarte si no la pones en práctica. Ayuda a tus semejantes, al menos en pequeña medida. Solo eso te ayudará. No culpes a los demás por las dificultades que enfrentas. Nunca

Develop the quality of love. Do not hate anybody. Develop the faith that whatever happens is for your own good. Whenever you encounter any difficulty or suffering, you alone are responsible for it. Respect others. That alone will protect you. On the other hand, if you insult somebody that act will punish you. Pleasure and pain are the products of your own making. The merit or sin committed by you will follow you like a shadow. People today love to give sermons to others. But they are not following their own precepts. What value will such teachings have? All this is mere deception. Whatever teachings you may read or listen to, can never help you if you do not put them into practice. Help your fellow human beings at least in a small measure. That alone will help you. Do not blame others for the difficulties you face. Do not ever abuse others. Love all. [Divine Discourse, Jan 1, 2004].

Sankranti otorga inmensa alegría a animales y pájaros, a la naturaleza y a todos, desde un granjero al rey. Sankranti marca el comienzo del tiempo sagrado de Uttarayana (movimiento del sol hacia el Norte). Los nombres pueden variar, pero este festival es celebrado alegremente por todos, independientemente de su estado, religión y nacionalidad. Ustedes también deberían agradecer la llegada del mes de Pushya y celebrar Sankranti en su verdadero espíritu al manifestar su alegría interior y compartirla con los demás. La palabra kranti significa cambio. Significa un cambio de la penuria a la felicidad, de la inquietud a la paz y del dolor al placer. La felicidad no se puede comprar en un mercado ni se puede adquirir por medios mundanos. Debe manifestarse desde adentro. «Comiencen el día con Amor, llenen el día con Amor, terminen el día con Amor, este es el camino hacia Dios». Si

Sankranti bestows immense joy on animals and birds, nature and everyone, right from a farmer to the king. Sankranti marks the beginning of the sacred time of Uttarayana (sun’s movement toward North). Names may vary, but this festival is celebrated joyously by one and all irrespective of state, religion and nationality. You too should welcome the arrival of the bounteous month of Pushya and celebrate Sankranti in its true spirit by manifesting your inner joy and sharing it with others. The word kranti means change. It signi?es a change from misery to happiness, from restlessness to peace and from pain to pleasure. Happiness cannot be purchased in a market nor can it be acquired by worldly means. It should manifest from within. “Start the day with Love, ?ll the day with Love, end the day with Love – this is the way to God.” If you practice this, you will always remain happy and not be disturbed by sorrows and dif?culties. Actualmente la gente no está celebrando a Sankranti en su verdadero espíritu. Lo limitan a la mera ejecución de rituales, con carencia de pureza y santidad. En el pasado, de todos los festivales, Sankranti era considerado el más importante. Es el día en que los agricultores llevan a casa la cosecha, alimentan a los pobres y se regocijan. Los eruditos védicos se levantan en las primeras horas de la mañana (Brahmamuhurta) y entonan los mantras védicos, purificando los corazones de todos. Este festival también tiene un significado especial para los cabezas de familia. Invitan a su yerno recién casado a su casa, les presentan ropa nueva y distribuyen caramelos y postres de arroz a todos, por lo que toda la casa abunda en alegría. Los vientos fríos, los cantos melifluos de los pájaros y los dulces cultivos de caña de azúcar anuncian la llegada de

Presently people are not celebrating Sankranti in its true spirit. They confine it to mere performance of rituals, in the absence of purity and sanctity. In the past, of all the festivals, Sankranti was considered the most important. It is the day on which farmers bring home the harvested crop, feed the poor and rejoice. Vedic scholars get up during the early morning hours (Brahmamuhurta) and chant Vedic mantras, purifying the hearts of one and all. This festival also has a special significance for the householders. They invite their newly married son-in-law to their house, present them with new clothes and distribute sweets and rice puddings to all, thus the entire household abounds with joy. Cool winds, mellifluous bird songs and the sweet sugarcane crops herald the arrival of Sankranti. This festival bestows great joy and auspiciousness on farmers, householders, priests and children. It must drive away all disappointments and despair, and fill
