Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam

En este mundo, no hay amor más grande que el amor de una madre. Está imbuido de inmenso poder. Pero, hoy en día, este sagrado principio del amor maternal está siendo descuidado. Las madres son tratadas como sirvientas. Cuando los padres envejecen, deben ser cuidados con amor y cariño. En lugar de esto, son enviados a hogares de ancianos. El que maltrata a sus padres seguro sufrirá un destino similar por parte de sus hijos. Como es el sentimiento, así es el resultado (Yad bhavam tad bhavati). Cualesquiera sean las acciones que realicen, regresarán a ustedes como reacción, reflejo y resonancia. Amen a su madre, entonces serán amados por todos. Como es la semilla, así es el retoño. Por lo tanto, primero y principal, desarrollen amor sagrado y desinteresado. Tengan cuidado de no contaminar su amor con egoísmo e interés propio. Cuando todos compartan amor puro

There is no love greater than mother’s love in this world. It is imbued with immense power. But such a sacred principle of mother’s love is being neglected today. Mothers are being treated like servants. When parents grow old, they should be looked after with love and care. Instead they are being sent to old age homes. One who ill-treats his parents is bound to suffer a similar fate at the hands of his children. As is the feeling, so is the result (Yad bhavam tad bhavati). Whatever actions you do, they will come back to you as reaction, reflection and resound. Love your mother. Then you will be loved by all. As is the seed, so is the sapling. Hence, first and foremost, develop sacred and selfless love. Be careful to not taint your love with selfishness and self-interest. When everyone shares pure love with each other, the whole world will be filled with happiness, peace and joy. (Divine Discourse, May 06, 2006)

El simple hecho de tener una forma humana no hace que uno sea un ser humano; lo que importa es la conducta y el comportamiento, ¿no es así? De la misma manera, la mera adquisición de conocimiento libresco no hace que uno sea verdaderamente educado. Tal educación mundana es de naturaleza negativa. Hay que distinguir entre educación y educare. La educación se limita a los niveles físico y mental. Mientras que la educación está orientada a la información, educare está orientado a la transformación. Así como los ríos Krishna y Godavari tienen su origen en el océano, la educación tiene sus raíces en educare. El conocimiento físico y mundano corresponde a la educación. Educare está relacionado con nuestros sentimientos internos y la pureza de corazón. Nuestro “matta, patta y batta” (hablar, cantar y
forma de vida) debe originarse en el corazón. Esa es la esencia de educare. Incluso si adquieren varios títulos de grado, si carecen de pureza de corazón, no pueden ser llamados verdaderamente educados. Discurso Divino del 14 de enero de 2006.

 

Merely having a human form does not make one a human being; it is the conduct and behaviour that matters, isn’t it? In the same manner, mere acquisition of bookish knowledge does not make one truly educated. Such worldly education is negative in nature. One must make a distinction between education and educare. Education is limited to physical and mental levels. While education is information-oriented, educare is transformation-oriented. Just as the rivers like Krishna and Godavari have their source in the ocean, education has its roots in educare. Physical and worldly knowledge corresponds to education. Educare is related to our inner feelings and purity of heart. Our matta, patta and batta (speech, song, and way of life) should originate from the heart. That is the essence of educare. Even if you acquire a number of degrees, if you lack purity of heart, you cannot be called truly educated. (Divine Discourse, Jan 14, 2006)

Cada uno de ustedes debe hacer de su propio corazón un Prasanthi Nilayam. La transformación debe comenzar a partir de este mismo momento. Analicen sus palabras, acciones y pensamientos, y desháganse de los que son malvados ya que les hacen daño a ustedes y a los demás. Cultiven la fortaleza (sahana), la paz firme (shanti) y digan la verdad (sathya). Actualmente, su mente revolotea y se posa sobre todos y cada uno de los objetos del Universo. Se niega a permanecer en una sola idea: Dios. Al igual que la mosca que se posa sobre lo que es limpio y lo que es repugnante, se niega la oportunidad de sentarse sobre una brasa caliente, de la misma manera la mente de ustedes huye de todos los pensamientos de Dios. La mosca será destruida cuando se siente en el fuego; así también su mente será destruida cuando mora en Dios. El deseo es el material mismo del que está hecha la mente; cuando la
mente se vuelve inexistente, ustedes se vuelven libres. Los deseos cesan cuando Dios se apodera de la mente. La muerte de la mente o la unión con el Señor se llama mano-nigraha. Discurso Divino del 26 de septiembre de 1965

 

Each one of you must make your own heart a Prasanthi Nilayam. Transformation must begin from this very moment. Analyse your words, deeds and thoughts, and get rid of the evil ones that harm you and others. Cultivate fortitude (sahana), firm peace (shanti), and speaking the truth (sathya). Presently your mind flutters and squats on all and sundry objects in the Universe. It refuses to stay only on one idea – God. Like the fly that sits on fair and foul, denies itself the opportunity of sitting on a hot cinder, your mind too flees from all thoughts of God. The fly will be destroyed when it sits on fire; so too your mind will be destroyed, when it dwells on God. Desire is the very same stuff of which the mind is made; when mind becomes non-existent, you become free. Desires cease, when God seizes the mind. The death of mind or mergence with the Lord is called mano-nigraha. (Divine Discourse, Sep 26, 1965)

El amor que han cultivado por los hombres, mujeres y objetos debe ser sublimado a pura, adoración divina. Luego se transmuta en Bhakthi (Amor de Dios). Convénzanse a sí mismos de que el Señor está en ustedes, como el conductor del carruaje, sosteniendo las riendas de los cinco caballos (cinco sentidos) y dándoles constante consejo, tal como lo hizo cuando Arjuna Le oró para que lo condujera y guiase. Posteriormente, será fácil para ustedes convencerse que el mismo ser- conductor está guiando y conduciendo a todos los otros seres. Cuando están firmemente establecidos en esta fe, se liberan del odio y la malicia, avaricia y envidia, ira y apego. Oren al Señor para que fortalezca esta convicción y esta fe; Él abrirá sus ojos a la Verdad y les revelará que Él es el Sanathana Sarathi (Eterno Conductor) en toda esa revelación
les conferirá una Ananda Incomparable, y les otorgará familiaridad con la diversidad de la Creación. Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Divino Discurso del 31 de julio de 1967

 

The love that you have cultivated for men, women and objects must be sublimated into pure, divine worship. Then it gets transmuted as Bhakthi (Love of God). Convince yourself that the Lord is in you, as the charioteer, holding the reins of the five horses (the senses) and giving you constant counsel, as He did when Arjuna prayed to Him, to lead and guide. Then, it becomes easy for you to convince yourself that the self-same charioteer is leading and guiding all other men and even all other beings. When you are established in this faith firmly, you become free of hate and malice, greed and envy, anger and attachment. Pray to the Lord to strengthen this conviction and this faith; He will open your eyes to the Truth and reveal to you that He is the Sanathana Sarathi (Eternal Charioteer) in all. That revelation will confer on you incomparable Ananda, and grant you kinship with Creation’s manifoldness. (Divine Discourse, Jul 31, 1967)
