Tal vez ustedes tengan ante sí una foto de Sai Baba, o una imagen en metal, o un ídolo en piedra. Pero si tienen fe en que Él está vivo y presente en todos, y está en su corazón y en el corazón de todos los seres, entonces tendrán el éxtasis de saber que Él es omnipresente, omnisciente y omnipotente. La Divinidad es un vino que los embriagaría. Es producido por el néctar que satura al nombre del Señor. Pruébenlo, y olvidarán todo lo demás; serán transformados. Ramakrishna solía llorar de pena por la pérdida de otro día sin la visión de la Madre Divina. Tengan ese anhelo; sientan esa sensación de urgencia. You may have a picture of Sai Baba before you, or an image in metal or an idol in stone. But, if you have faith that He is alive and present in it, and that He is in your heart and in the hearts of all beings, then you get the ecstasy of the knowledge that He is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. The Divine is a wine, that would intoxicate you. It is produced by the nectar that the name of the Lord is saturated in. Taste it and you forget everything else; you are transformed. Ramakrishna used to cry in agony at the loss of another day, without the vision of the Divine Mother. La confianza en uno mismo es muy esencial. Esta es la base sobre la cual deben levantar las paredes del auto-sacrificio. Por lo tanto, deben colocar, en primer lugar, los cimientos de la confianza en uno mismo y construir la mansión de la auto-satisfacción y el auto-sacrificio. Entonces, finalmente alcanzarán la auto-realización. Pero la gente no posee esa firme confianza en sí misma. ¿Cuál es la razón? Su mente está perdida en deseos sucios, mundanos e inútiles. ¿Cuánto tiempo pueden durar las cosas del mundo? Ellas van y vienen como nubes pasajeras. Los estudiantes de hoy están siendo entrenados en una educación que fomenta los deseos. Junto con esta educación, ustedes deben fomentar los valores humanos. Los valores humanos no son algo que ustedes necesitan adquirir de nuevo. Ellos nacen con ustedes y son innatos en ustedes. Como están

Self-confidence is very essential. This is the foundation on which you must raise the walls of self-sacrifice. You have to therefore lay, first of all, the foundation of self-confidence and build the mansion of self-satisfaction and self-sacrifice. Then you ultimately attain self-realisation. But people do not possess such steady self-confidence. What is the reason? Their mind is lost in dirty, worldly and useless desires. How long can the worldly things last? They come and go like passing clouds. Today students are trained in such education which fosters desires. Along with this education, you must foster human values. Human values are not something that you need to acquire anew. They are born with you and are innate in you. As they are hidden within, you are unaware of them. When the safe vault of the heart is opened by the key of love, the valuable qualities of human values emerge. (Divine Discourse, Sep 26, 2000)

Piensen en un automóvil. Un auto tiene algunas luces. Hay foquitos en las luces. Debido al foquito se obtiene la luz. ¿El foquito da la luz? ¡No! Es la energía eléctrica que pasa a través del foquito y da la luz. También escuchamos la bocina. La bocina no puede funcionar por sí sola. La bocina emite el sonido en base a la energía eléctrica. Los neumáticos se mueven, pero no pueden moverse por sí mismos. Es la potencia del motor la que mueve los neumáticos. El cuerpo es como un automóvil. Los ojos son los foquitos y nuestra boca es como la bocina. Las piernas son los neumáticos y la mente es el motor. El intelecto es el interruptor. El poder divino es la corriente. Sin el poder divino, el cuerpo no puede moverse. El poder divino es lo más importante. El cuerpo, la mente, los sentidos y el intelecto no son más que instrumentos. Discurso

Think of a car. A car has some lights. There are bulbs in the lights. Because of the bulb, you get the light. Does the bulb give the light? No! It is the electric power that goes through the bulb and gives light. We also hear the horn. The horn cannot work by itself. The horn gives the sound on the basis of the electric power. The tyres are moving, but they cannot move by themselves. It is the power of the engine that moves the tyres. The body is like a car. The eyes are the bulbs, and our mouth is like the horn. The legs are the tyres, and the mind is the engine. The intellect is the switch. Divine power is the current. Without divine power, the body cannot move. Divine power is the most important thing.
