La Rectitud («Dharma») no tiene prejuicios o parcialidad, y está imbuída de verdad y justicia. Las personas deben adherirse a la conducta correcta («Dharma») y asegurarse de que nunca actúen de modo contrario a ella. Es un error desviarse de la rectitud. El sendero del «Dharma» requiere que la gente abandone el odio hacia otros y que cultive la concordia mutua y la amistad. A través de estas el mundo se convertirá día a día en un lugar de felicidad. Si la concordia y la amistad están bien establecidas, el mundo estará libre de indisciplina, desasosiego, desorden, e injusticia. Cualquiera sea la virtud que desees seguir, primero capta su real significado, y luego cúltívala diariamente y benefíciate de ella. De esta forma crece la sabiduría y se obtiene una alegría duradera. El sabio – que es imparcial, está libre de prejuicios, y está
comprometido a vivir en «Dharma» – transita el sendero de la verdad como lo indican los Vedas. Tal es el sendero para todas las personas hoy día. («Dharma Vahini», Capítulo 13, «La persona Dhármica»).

 

Righteousness (Dharma) has no prejudice or partiality; it is imbued with truth and justice. People must adhere to right-conduct (dharma); they must see that they never go against it. It is wrong to deviate from it. The path of dharma requires people to give up hatred against others and cultivate mutual concord and amity. Through concord and amity, the world will grow day by day into a place of happiness. If these are well established, the world will be free from disquiet, indiscipline, disorder, and injustice. Whatever good value you desire to follow, first grasp its real meaning. Then, you must cultivate it daily and benefit from it. By this means, wisdom grows and lasting joy is earned. The wise, who are impartial and unprejudiced, who are committed to living in dharma, walk on the path of truth (Sathya), as instructed in the Vedas. That is the path for all people today.
