Cuando ustedes dudan de la fortaleza de los cimientos de una casa, tienen miedo de entrar en ella; cuando dudan de la habilidad del fabricante, se sienten nerviosos al viajar en un automóvil. Los tiempos actuales han llegado a ser una edad de miedo, ansiedad y ashanti (ausencia de paz), porque las personas no tienen una fe profunda en el Creador. Bhishma, Shankara y otros jnanis (sabios) sabían que el Señor es la base (Aadhara) de toda la creación, y no tenían miedo en absoluto. En tiempos recientes, Mahatma Gandhi confió en la gracia del Señor y en Su grandeza, y ganó la libertad para la Nación. Sepan que el Señor constituye los cimientos invisibles sobre los cuales está construida la vida de ustedes. Él es su fuente, su soporte y su fuerza. Sin Su voluntad, ninguna hoja puede darse vuelta, ninguna brizna de hierba puede estremecerse. ¿Qué cimientos
pueden desear, más firmes que estos? Habiendo conocido al Señor, el Poder Omnipotente, como motor de su vida, no deberían temer más. (Discurso Divino, 8 de diciembre de 1964)

 

When you suspect the strength of the foundation of a house, you are afraid to enter it; when you suspect the skill of the manufacturer, you are nervous to ride in the car. The present times have become an age of fear, anxiety and ashanti (absence of peace) because people do not have deep faith in the Creator. Bhishma, Shankara and other Jnanis (wise ones) knew that the Lord is the basis (Aadhara) for all creation and had no fear at all. In recent times, Mahatma Gandhi relied on the Lord’s Grace and His Might and won freedom for the Nation. Know that the Lord is the unseen foundation on which your life is built. He is your source, sustenance and strength. Without His Will, no leaf can turn, no blade of grass can quiver. What firmer foundation can you desire than this? Having known the Lord, the Omnipotent Power as the mainspring of your life, you should not fear any more! (Divine Discourse, Dec 8, 1964)
