Encarnaciones del Amor ! La historia de Rama no es antigua, es eterna y siempre nueva, llena de auspiciosidad. Cuando se contempla en Rama incesantemente, se obtiene una gran alegría y gozo. El Ramayana enseña a cada individuo los principios de la rectitud (Dharma) y el sendero del deber. El Ramayana establece un ideal para la humanidad y para padres y hermanos en cada familia. Hoy estamos celebrando el festival de Rama Navami para comprender y asimilar el principio del Ramayana. No será suficiente si se confina la celebración meramente a compartir budines dulces y otros deliciosos bocados. ¡Que todos ustedes colmen sus corazones con los sagrados ideales del Ramayana ! Obedezcan las órdenes del Señor Rama. El dolor y el placer, la pena y la felicidad, se suceden unas a otras, y uno debería tratarlas con ecuanimidad. Que todos renuncien al odio y a todo tipo de diferencias, viviendo en paz y

Embodiments of Love! The story of Rama is not an ancient one. It is eternal and ever new. It is full of auspiciousness. When you contemplate on Rama incessantly, you derive great joy and delight! Ramayana teaches the principles of righteousness (dharma) and the path of duty to every individual. Ramayana sets an ideal to parents, brothers, and sisters in every family and to humanity. It is to understand and assimilate the principle of Ramayana that we are celebrating the festival of Rama Navami today. It is not enough if the celebration is confined to merely partaking of sweet pudding and other delicious items. May you fill your heart with the sacred ideals of the Ramayana! Obey the commands of Lord Rama. Pain and pleasure, sorrow and happiness follow one another. One should treat them with equanimity. May you give up hatred and all differences.
