Reconociendo la supremacía de la acción, ustedes deben cerciorarse de que todo lo que hagan sea puro y sagrado. La acción no está limitada a lo que hacen con las manos. Lo que oyen, lo que ven, lo que dicen e incluso lo que piensan, todo constituye acción. Esto significa que las cosas que vean, las palabras que oigan, los pensamientos que tengan y las palabras que pronuncien, todos deben ser puros. Todo lo que reciben a través de los cinco sentidos debe ser saludable y puro. Sólo así pueden tener una naturaleza «sátvica» (pura). La devoción no debe estar confinada a los bhajans, o a exhibir un anhelo por Swami. Ustedes son los arquitectos de su propio destino. Llenen de devoción cada una de sus acciones, imprégnenlas de rectitud y dedíquenlas a la Divinidad. Si siguen esto, su vida será santificada, y puede que ya no tengan ningún
renacimiento. Esta es Mi bendición para todos ustedes. (Discurso Divino, 21 de febrero de 1988)

 

Recognising the supremacy of action, you must see that everything you do is pure and holy. Action is not limited to what you do with your hands. What you hear, what you see, what you speak and even what you think — all of these constitute action. This means that the things you see, the words you hear, the thoughts you think and the words you speak must all be pure. All that you take in through your five senses should be wholesome and pure! Only then can you have a ‘satvic’ (pure) nature. Devotion should not be confined to bhajans or exhibiting a yearning for Swami. You are the architect of your own destiny. Fill every one of your actions with devotion, suffuse them with righteousness and dedicate them to the Divine. If you follow this, your life will become sanctified and you may not have a rebirth at all. This is My benediction to all of you. (Divine Discourse, Feb 21, 1988)
