Algunas personas, temerosas de la crítica cínica de los incrédulos, son reacias a caminar por las calles en grupos cantando la gloria de Dios durante las primeras horas de la mañana. Cuando tienes a la misma Encarnación de la Intrepidez instalada en tu corazón, ¿por qué el menor temblor de miedo te afecta? Has venido a este mundo solo, sin acompañante, ¿no es así? Durante los años de vida, reuniste esposa e hijos, parientes y amigos, y conocidos que se unieron a ti. Cuando regreses al reino del que has venido, entrarás solo sin nadie para hacerte compañía. Así también deja que sea el viaje con Nagarasankirtan. Sal solo a la calle, reúne amigos y parientes si se acercan a ti, muévete con ellos despreocupado e inmutable, deléitate en tu propia dulce soledad, y finalmente ingresa a tu hogar con la
satisfacción de que tu trabajo está bien hecho. Los compañeros pueden reírse de ti como si estuvieras loco, pero esta locura es contagiosa y muy pronto, incluso los irreverentes entrarán al redil. [Discurso Divino, 13 de enero de 1970].

 

Some people, afraid of cynical criticism by unbelievers, are reluctant to walk the streets in groups singing the glory of God during early morning hours! When you have the very Embodiment of Fearlessness installed in your heart, why should the slightest tremor of fear affect you? You came into this world alone, with no companion, isn’t it? During the years of life, you gathered wife and children, kith and kin, and friends and acquaintances who attached themselves to you. When you return to the realm from which you came, you enter it alone with no one to keep company. So too let the journey with Nagarasankirtan be. Come into the street alone, collect kith and kin if they come unto you, move with them unconcerned and unaffected, revel in your own sweet solitariness, and finally enter your home with the satisfaction that your job is well done. Fellows may laugh at you as insane but this insanity is infectious and very soon, even the irreverent will be
