No es posible progresar en el Universo sin sacrificio (Yajna). Yajna mantiene el orden del Universo. El sacrificio complace a los dioses; estos envían lluvias; las lluvias alimentan los cultivos; los cultivos rinden cosechas. La cosecha fortalece los miembros y amplía las perspectivas, ensancha el corazón y clarifica la visión hasta que el hombre alcanza la meta, donde ya no hay más lucha o muerte. El sacrificio más alto y beneficioso es el del ego. Crucifícalo y sé libre. Dedica tu ego a Dios y sé rico más allá de cualquier sueño. Prepárate para este estado supremo enrolándote en santa acción (Karma), lo que significa Karma purificado en el crisol de la rectitud (Dharma), ¡y así alcanza a Dios (Brahman, el Absoluto Indivisible) como tu recompensa! Ten fe en Dios, Él lo ve todo, Él está en todos lados, Él

t is not possible to progress in the Universe without sacrifice (yajna). Yajna maintains the order of the Universe. Sacrifice pleases the gods; the gods send rain; the rain feeds the crops; the crops yield harvest, the harvest strengthens the limbs and widens the outlook; it broadens the heart and clarifies the vision until man reaches the goal, where there is no more struggle or death. The highest and the most fruitful sacrifice is that of the ego. Crucify it and be free. Dedicate your ego to God and be rich beyond all dreams. Prepare yourself for this supreme status, by engaging in holy action (karma), meaning karma cleansed in the crucible of righteousness (dharma), and attain God (Brahman – the One Indivisible Absolute) as your reward! Have faith in God; He sees everything; He is everywhere; He is all-powerful. He lives in every heart. (Divine Discourse, Nov 1970)
