A quien está cegado por el ego, y es incapaz de ver nada bueno a su alrededor, ¿le dará la vida algo dulce? Para quien nunca hace el bien, ¿será la vida un fácil paseo? Para quien lleva una vida pecaminosa, ¿le deparará el futuro algún placer? ¿Quién es Dios y quién el devoto? ¿Quién es el maestro y quién el discípulo? ¿Quién es el escritor y quién el actor? Si ustedes eligen no aplicar su inteligencia, otorgada por Dios, para comprender estas respuestas, ¿de quién es la culpa? En su vida cotidiana, ustedes están muy ocupados estableciendo relaciones con muchas personas. Entre ellas, piensan que algunos son sus amigos, consideran a otros sus enemigos, y dedican tiempo a estar con aquellos que «les agradan». Recuerden que para cada uno, su propio Uno Mismo es el mejor amigo o el peor

For someone who is blinded by ego and is unable to see anything good around them, is life going to give them any sweetness at all? For the one who never does any good, is life going to be an easy cake-walk? For the one who is leading a sinful life, is any pleasure going to come their way in future? Who is God and who is the devotee? Who is the teacher and who is the disciple? Who is the writer and who is the actor? If you choose not to apply your God-gifted intelligence to understand these answers, who is at fault? In your daily living, you are so busy establishing connection with so many people. Amongst them, you think some are your friends, you consider some others as your enemies, and spend time with those you ‘like’.
